The Beneteau Antares 8 is designed as a versatile family weekender, combining a streamlined profile, reliable seakeeping, and a flexible deck layout within just over eight metres. Owners can choose between Cruising and Fishing configurations, allowing for relaxed coastal trips, active days on the water, or a balanced mix of both. Features such as flush swim platforms, a wide starboard side deck, and a spacious bow sunpad enhance movement on board and outdoor enjoyment.
On deck, the Antares 8 prioritises comfort and adaptability. The sheltered wheelhouse opens to a thoughtfully arranged cockpit with modular seating and a stowable table that converts to a generous sunpad, suitable for relaxing or dining at anchor. Storage is ample, with new wet storage options and multiple lockers in the cockpit floor, while roof racks provide additional space for boards or equipment.
Inside, the Antares 8 is equipped for short coastal cruises in comfort. The wheelhouse saloon includes a galley with fridge and gas or electric hob, and can be converted into an extra double berth. Forward, the cabin offers a comfortable double berth, with additional berth space beneath the saloon and an optional heads compartment with shower, accommodating up to five overnight guests. With a flared hull for stability and a maximum engine rating of 250 hp, the Antares 8 is well suited to family cruising and adventurous weekends on the water.
